About the role
We are looking for an experienced Data Center Technician to work on‑site in Kuwait City on a contract/freelance basis. The role supports mission‑critical infrastructure at premier data‑center facilities, providing remote‑hands and smart‑hands services.
Key responsibilities
- Perform hardware installations, de‑commissions, migrations and server racking, stacking and labeling.
- Execute structured cabling (copper and fiber optic), cross‑connects and patch‑panel work.
- Troubleshoot connectivity and hardware issues and document all work with photos and detailed notes.
- Coordinate with remote NOC and client teams.
Required profile
- Minimum 2 years of data‑center or IT‑infrastructure experience.
- Ability to lift 50 lb+, work in raised‑floor environments and have own transportation.
- Professional communication skills in English.
Required skills
- Server hardware experience (Dell, HP, Supermicro).
- Strong cabling skills (Cat5e/6/6a, single‑mode/multi‑mode fiber).
- Familiarity with ticketing systems and DCIM tools.
