IT Specialist – PMO

About the role

The IT Specialist – PMO will oversee the delivery of large‑scale digital projects, ensuring they are managed efficiently from initiation to completion. This position requires strong communication, analytical abilities, and a passion for retail technology.

Key responsibilities

• Define project plans, set priorities, allocate resources and report on progress for technical projects.
• Coordinate the full software development and deployment lifecycle, acting as the project owner.
• Motivate and guide project teams, provide feedback, and recognize strengths.
• Collaborate closely with product management, business units, IT teams, external vendors and implementation partners.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Software Engineering or related field.
• Preferred PMP, PRINCE2 or similar project‑management certification.
• Minimum 5 years leading complex, product‑oriented technology projects.
• Proven experience managing large‑scale, multi‑team initiatives.

Required skills

• Hands‑on experience with software development and large‑scale systems.
• Proficiency in project‑management tools such as MS Project, Jira, Asana.
• Experience with SAP or other enterprise ERP systems.
• Good understanding of Agile methodologies, Scrum and Kanban.
