About the role

We are seeking an inspiring Business Studies teacher to join our British‑curriculum international school in Kuwait. The successful candidate will deliver engaging Business Studies lessons to secondary students, fostering entrepreneurial thinking and real‑world business awareness.

Key responsibilities

• Plan and deliver Business Studies curriculum for Key Stages 3 and 4 (Key Stage 5 desirable).
• Create practical, relevant lessons that connect theory to real‑world business contexts.
• Assess and monitor student progress, providing constructive feedback.
• Utilise classroom technology and state‑of‑the‑art resources to enhance learning.
• Collaborate with the wider teaching team to support a cohesive, inclusive learning environment.

Required profile

• BEd or relevant degree with PGCE in Business & Economics.
• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) in the UK.
• 2–5 years of proven teaching experience in a British school setting.
• Experience teaching Key Stages 3 and 4; Key Stage 5 experience is a plus.
• Ability to create an inclusive, engaging classroom and adapt to an international cultural setting.

Required skills

• Strong subject knowledge of Business Studies.
• Familiarity with the British curriculum and assessment standards.
• Effective classroom management and lesson‑planning abilities.
• Competence in using educational technology to support instruction.
