Butchery Team Leader – Retail Hypermarket

About the role

The Butchery Team Leader is responsible for delivering high‑quality, fresh meat products and an exceptional customer experience in a hypermarket environment. You will motivate the team, address issues promptly, and drive sales to meet set targets.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise daily butchery operations, ensuring product quality, freshness, and availability.
• Manage stock levels, place replenishment orders, and monitor deliveries.
• Control waste, shrinkage, and stock losses through proper handling, storage, and rotation.
• Ensure accurate pricing, promotional execution, and attractive product displays.
• Monitor slow‑moving products and implement actions to maximize sales before expiration.
• Enforce food safety, hygiene, health, and security standards.
• Lead, train, and monitor team performance to achieve sales targets.
• Analyze section performance, customer feedback, and operational reports for continuous improvement.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in a related field.
• Minimum 1 year of supervisory experience in a butchery, meat processing, or retail food environment.
• Strong knowledge of meat cuts, product handling, storage standards, and food safety regulations.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and team development skills.
• Arabic speaker is mandatory.
