C-17 Lead Coordinator (Kuwait)

About the role

Boeing Global Services is seeking an experienced C-17 Lead Coordinator to join the on‑site Integrated Sustainment Program at Al Mubarak Air Base, Kuwait. The role oversees organizational maintenance activities for the Kuwait Air Force C‑17 fleet, ensuring aircraft readiness and compliance with mission requirements.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and coordinate multiple final scheduled maintenance visits, managing plans, resources, and parts availability.
• Direct daily aircraft launch, recovery, pre/post‑flight, and servicing tasks for a team of multi‑level mechanics and technicians.
• Maintain continuous communication with touch labor, Field Operations, Boeing support functions, and KAF flight crews.
• Develop, prioritize, and report maintenance plans, tracking quality metrics and initiating corrective actions.
• Serve as subject‑matter expert for aircraft condition, perform root‑cause analysis, and implement corrective action plans to improve mission‑capable rates.

Required profile

• Minimum 10 years of C‑17 maintenance experience, preferably in an Air Force environment.
• U.S. citizenship with ability to obtain a U.S. Secret security clearance (interim or final).
• Knowledge of import/export regulations and Air Force procedures, technical orders, and maintenance information systems (e.g., G081).
• Strong English reading, comprehension, and speaking skills for technical data and training.

• C‑17 Globemaster III maintenance and subsystem knowledge.
• Air Force procedural expertise and technical order compliance.
• Use of maintenance information systems (e.g., G081).
• Understanding of import/export regulations related to aerospace parts.
