Central Cashier Office Manager – Retail Hypermarket

About the role

The Central Cashier Office Manager oversees all cash transactions within a hypermarket, ensuring accuracy, compliance and secure cash handling. The role also focuses on delivering best‑in‑class customer service and maintaining high satisfaction levels.

Key responsibilities

• Manage and oversee all cash transactions, guaranteeing accuracy and adherence to company standards.
• Ensure secure, timely cash transfers from the store to the bank with proper controls and documentation.
• Monitor compliance with Central Cashier Office policies, procedures and insurance requirements.
• Implement fraud‑prevention controls and report any suspicious activities.
• Oversee corrections, cancellations, price changes and barcode accuracy to maintain transaction integrity.
• Monitor customer service standards and resolve customer issues when required.
• Supervise cash counter operations, driving team productivity and efficiency.
• Lead, coach and develop the cash office team through performance management, training and succession planning.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Administration, Finance or a related field.
• Minimum 5+ years experience in retail, customer service or finance functions.
• At least 3+ years in a managerial or leadership role.
