About the role
The Field Driller I is responsible for overseeing all activities on the drill floor and around the blow‑out preventer (BOP). Working under the direction of the Rig Manager, the Driller ensures that rig‑up, rig‑down and drilling operations are carried out safely, efficiently and in line with the company’s production and budget targets.
Key responsibilities
- Monitor and control work on the drill floor and BOP area to maintain safety standards.
- Execute rig‑up and rig‑down procedures according to established protocols.
- Conduct drilling operations while meeting production goals and budget constraints.
- Collaborate with the Rig Manager and crew to achieve the company’s safety and performance objectives.
Required profile
- Ability to work under the supervision of the Rig Manager.
- Strong commitment to safety, production efficiency and budget adherence.
- Willingness to operate in a demanding on‑site environment.
