Field Service Representative

About the role

The Field Service Representative (FSR) will support mission‑critical programs across Southwest Asia, installing, sustaining, and training users on tactical electronics and C5ISR sensor systems. This position requires an active U.S. Secret clearance and the ability to work extended hours in austere environments.

Key responsibilities

• Install, configure, and test Boomerang gunfire detection systems on platforms such as Humvees, Strykers and MRAPs.
• Integrate and sustain EUGS and related battlefield sensor suites, including PILAR or similar gunfire localization systems.
• Perform field wiring, cabling, mounting, alignment, firmware updates and system hardening.
• Conduct preventive maintenance checks, corrective repairs, diagnostics and board‑level component replacement.
• Train military personnel on operation, troubleshooting and preventive maintenance.
• Execute site surveys, manage logistics, update equipment databases and ensure ITAR/EXIM compliance.
• Travel throughout AFRICOM and CENTCOM areas, supporting 84‑hour work weeks as required.

Required profile

• U.S. citizenship and active Secret clearance.
• 5+ years of related field service experience with tactical electronics.
• Willingness to work extended hours and travel to remote locations.
• Ability to read technical schematics and follow GCSS‑Army workflows.

Required skills

• Diagnostics & troubleshooting of sensor systems.
• Installation and integration of Boomerang, EUGS, and PILAR systems.
• Field wiring, cabling, firmware updates and COMSEC handling.
• Technical diagram interpretation and board‑level repairs.
• Use of COLTS/RCLS tracking systems and GCSS‑Army processes.
