Freelance Mechanical Engineer & Python AI Trainer

About the role

We are looking for a Mechanical Engineer with strong Python expertise to join our freelance AI training platform. You will design and create computational engineering problems that help test and improve AI systems for leading tech companies.

Key responsibilities

• Design original computational engineering problems that simulate real engineering workflows.
• Create Python‑based tasks requiring numerical methods, iterative solutions, and optimization.
• Develop problem statements based on real research challenges or practical engineering applications.
• Verify solutions using Python and standard engineering libraries such as NumPy, Pandas, and SciPy.
• Document problem statements clearly and provide verified correct answers.

Required profile

• Degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
• At least 2 years of professional, research, or teaching experience.
• Strong written English proficiency (C1+).
• Professional certifications (e.g., CMME, SAS) are a plus.

Required skills

• Python programming.
• Numerical libraries: NumPy, Pandas, SciPy.
• Familiarity with MATLAB, R, C, or SQL.
• Understanding of practical engineering constraints and approximations.
