Freight Specialist

About the role

The Freight Specialist will coordinate international shipments across air, sea, and land modes. You will act as the primary liaison between the company, freight forwarders, shipping lines, airlines, and customs brokers to ensure smooth and compliant movement of goods.

Key responsibilities

• Manage end‑to‑end freight processes, including quotations, bookings, and invoicing.
• Prepare and verify import/export documentation in line with Incoterms and local regulations.
• Negotiate rates and terms with carriers, forwarders, and customs brokers.
• Monitor shipment status, resolve issues, and maintain accurate records.
• Coordinate multiple shipments simultaneously while ensuring attention to detail.

Required profile

• 2–4 years of experience in freight forwarding, shipping, or freight coordination.
• Strong hands‑on knowledge of international freight processes and documentation.
• Good understanding of air, sea, and/or land freight operations.
• Familiarity with Incoterms and international shipping procedures.
• Excellent follow‑up, negotiation, and communication abilities.

Required skills

• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
• Competence with standard office applications (Word, PowerPoint, Outlook).
