Graduate Engineering Training Program – Kuwait Fund Collaboration

About the role

GE Vernova, in partnership with the Kuwait Fund, offers a nine‑month graduate engineering training program. Recent engineering graduates will gain hands‑on experience in power generation technologies and engineering practices across two assignments – six months at a regional GE Vernova facility and three months at GEV KTC in Kuwait.

Key responsibilities

• Support engineering teams on technical activities and projects related to mechanical, electrical, and civil systems in power generation.
• Participate in technical training, workshops, site visits, and practical learning assignments.
• Apply engineering fundamentals to real‑world problems, including data analysis, tooling, and process improvement.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to understand challenges and contribute to solutions.
• Prepare and present progress reports, findings, and recommendations throughout the program.
• Follow GE Vernova’s Environmental, Health and Safety (EHS) standards and maintain safe working practices.

Required profile

• Recent graduate with a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Mechanical, Civil, Electrical, Industrial Engineering or a related field.
• Strong interest in the power and energy sector and willingness to develop technical knowledge in power generation.
• Ability to commit to the full nine‑month program, including relocation for the regional and Kuwait assignments.
• Good analytical, problem‑solving, written and verbal communication skills.
