Group Maintenance Manager

About the role

We are looking for an experienced Group Maintenance Manager to lead all maintenance activities across our facilities, ensuring reliable operation of high‑speed food processing, packaging and bottling equipment as well as chillers, freezers and refrigerated warehouses. The role involves planning preventive schedules, managing budgets, supervising technical teams and coordinating with third‑party contractors to minimise downtime and maximise efficiency.

Key responsibilities

• Direct preventive and corrective maintenance for high‑speed food processing, packaging and bottling machinery.
• Oversee calibration and monitoring of industrial chillers, freezers and refrigerated storage zones.
• Supervise on‑site technicians, manage emergency shift schedules and coordinate specialised engineering contractors.
• Control maintenance budgets, source spare parts and optimise utility usage (steam, compressed air, water filtration).
• Develop long‑term preventive and corrective maintenance strategies and ensure compliance with local codes, safety and sustainability standards.
• Maintain asset registers and technical documentation.
• Lead the design, installation and commissioning of MEP systems in collaboration with consultants and contractors.
• Coordinate electrical, mechanical and plumbing works during building commissioning and renovations.
• Drive energy‑management and cost‑saving initiatives while establishing KPIs and monitoring departmental performance.

Required profile

• Minimum 15 years of maintenance experience in an industrial environment.
• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering.
• Certified Maintenance Manager (CMM) or PMP certification is an advantage.
• Strong leadership and problem‑solving abilities.
• Valid Kuwaiti driving licence and own car; transferable work visa.
