Guest Services Assistant - Talise Spa

About the role

Jumeirah Messilah Beach, a beachfront resort in Kuwait with 316 rooms and suites, offers an opportunity for a Guest Service Assistant to join its award-winning Talise Spa. The spa features a Himalayan Salt Room, treatment rooms and private suites, and the role covers guest reception, reservations and basic administration.

Key responsibilities

• Provide courteous and professional service at all times.
• Welcome guests and members, explain and upsell the facilities and services available.
• Answer telephone calls within three rings, handling guest messages and communication needs accurately.
• Direct guests to their desired treatment locations and connect them with the right service.
• Schedule spa service reservations for guests and coordinate staff schedules to ensure prompt service.
• Handle administration duties such as filing, product supply inventory and other tasks supporting management and operations.
• Report problems and complaints through the logbook and staff meetings, depending on urgency.
• Liaise with related departments to confirm reservations, process engineering requests and maintain cleanliness.

Required profile

• Minimum 2 years of experience in the same role in a five-star hotel.
• Previous experience within a spa environment.
• Ability to work in a multicultural environment.

Required skills

• Knowledge of treatments.
• Knowledge of the Premier Day Spa system.
