Health, Safety & Environment Officer (HSE Technician)

About the role

The HSE Technician/Officer will support the implementation of health, safety and environmental practices at site level, ensuring compliance with company policies, local regulations and international standards. You will conduct routine inspections, support risk assessments and incident investigations, and promote a strong safety culture across operational areas.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct regular workplace safety inspections, observations and audits, identifying unsafe acts, conditions and hazards.
• Support risk assessments, recommend control measures and monitor compliance with PPE, LOTO, work‑at‑height, confined‑space and chemical safety procedures.
• Assist in incident investigations, root‑cause analysis and the tracking of corrective and preventive actions (CAPA).
• Maintain HSE documentation, prepare daily observation reports, inspection checklists and monthly performance reports.
• Coordinate with production, engineering, HR and contractors to ensure HSE requirements are met across multiple sites.

Required profile

• Minimum IOSH certification; NEBOSH certification is an advantage.
• 2–3 years of HSE experience in an industrial, manufacturing, food or water sector.
• Good verbal and written communication skills in English (Hindi and Arabic are a plus).
• Ability to work across multiple sites and engage effectively with operational staff.
