Heart of House Specialist

About the role

The Heart of House Specialist supports essential hotel operations by maintaining cleanliness across multiple departments such as kitchen, food & beverage, and laundry. This full‑time, onsite position ensures guests enjoy spotless dining ware, fresh linen, and a safe environment.

Key responsibilities

• Clean and sanitize kitchen, dining, and laundry areas.
• Operate and maintain dishwashing machines, hand‑wash stations, linen washers and dryers.
• Transport dishware and linens throughout the hotel.
• Follow safety procedures, report accidents or unsafe conditions.
• Lift, move, and place objects up to 50 lb without assistance.
• Stand, walk, or sit for extended periods and perform overhead and low‑reach tasks.

Required profile

• No high‑school diploma or GED required.
• No prior work experience necessary.
• No supervisory experience or licenses needed.
• Commitment to safety, professional appearance, and teamwork.

Required skills

• Dishwashing machine operation.
• Linen washer and dryer operation.
• Basic cleaning equipment maintenance.
