Heavy Driver Operator II – Wireline Services

About the role

The Heavy Driver Operator II supports Weatherford's wireline field operations in Kuwait, handling equipment, performing functional tests, and ensuring safe transport of tools to well sites. The role combines hands‑on technical work with strict adherence to health, safety, and environmental standards.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain HSSE compliance and follow Weatherford SOPs.
• Conduct functional tests, inspections, and monitoring of wireline equipment.
• Perform maintenance tasks such as unloading, cleaning, pressure testing, assembly, and storage of tools.
• Rig up and rig down wireline equipment according to documented procedures.
• Operate, lubricate, and repair mechanical, electronic, and hydraulic components.
• Drive pickups and trucks to transport equipment, maintaining a satisfactory driving record.
• Communicate effectively with supervisors, team members, and stakeholders.
• Identify improvement opportunities and perform other assigned duties safely.

Required profile

• 3‑5 years of experience in the oil & gas wireline field.
• High school diploma.
• Valid Heavy Driver License in Kuwait.
• Ability to work a rotational schedule (3 months on, 1 month off).
• Proficiency in reading and writing English.

Required skills

• Equipment maintenance, troubleshooting, repair, and monitoring.
• Basic mathematics and quality‑control analysis.
• Basic computer skills.
