Human Resources Director

About the role

The Human Resources Director will lead ZAD’s people strategy across Kuwait, Turkey and the UAE, reporting directly to the CEO. This is a build‑and‑lead position responsible for establishing HR frameworks in new markets while delivering hands‑on execution where depth is limited.

Key responsibilities

• Define and execute the group people strategy, translating it into an annual HR plan with clear priorities.
• Ensure compliance with Kuwait, Turkish and UAE employment laws, including Capital Markets Authority, ADGM and FSRA regulations.
• Lead workforce planning, organizational design, grading, and advise executives on structure as the company scales.
• Own recruitment for all locations, personally handling executive, regulated and hard‑to‑fill hires.
• Manage compensation and benefits, salary benchmarking, incentive design and insurance across three markets.
• Oversee payroll and end‑of‑service processes, guaranteeing accuracy and timeliness.
• Drive performance management, linking it to reward, development, succession and career frameworks.
• Set and adapt HR policies to local regulations and keep them current.
• Build and lead the regional HR teams, establishing standards and capability.
• Act as senior HR partner to executives, handling escalated employee relations, investigations and terminations.
• Maintain HR systems, automate processes and provide accurate reporting to executives and the board.
• Manage the HR budget and control people costs.
• Lead employee engagement, culture initiatives and internal communications across locations.

Required profile

• Proven senior HR leadership experience in multi‑jurisdiction environments.
• Deep knowledge of Kuwait, Turkish and UAE employment legislation.
• Strategic thinker with strong workforce planning and organizational design skills.
• Track record of building HR functions from the ground up.
• Excellent stakeholder management with C‑level executives.
