Medical Science Liaison – Neuroscience (Gulf)

About the role

The Medical Science Liaison (MSL) for Neuroscience will represent AbbVie’s medical and scientific voice across the Gulf region. The role involves providing expert medical guidance on assigned products, building relationships with external experts, and supporting the affiliate’s medical affairs strategy.

Key responsibilities

• Act as the medical/scientific expert for assigned neuroscience products and therapeutic areas.
• Provide scientific exchange and guidance to key customers and external experts.
• Contribute medical and scientific input to affiliate medical and commercial strategies.
• Develop and maintain in‑depth knowledge through internal training, congresses and self‑study.
• Support the creation and accuracy of medical dossiers, pricing, reimbursement and HEOR documents.
• Establish and maintain professional relationships with external experts and academic centers, including advisory boards and round‑table meetings.
• Deliver scientific presentations and medical education programs to healthcare professionals.
• Screen relevant literature and scientific meetings, summarising key messages for internal use.

Required profile

• Medical or scientific background with expertise in neuroscience.
• Experience in medical affairs or similar scientific liaison roles.
• Ability to engage with external experts and academic institutions.
• Strong communication skills for scientific presentations and education.
