Medical Science Liaison Neuroscience Gulf

About the role

AbbVie is seeking a Medical Science Liaison (MSL) specialized in neuroscience to support its Gulf region portfolio. The MSL will act as the scientific voice of the affiliate, providing expert medical guidance to key external stakeholders and contributing to the overall medical affairs strategy.

Key responsibilities

• Represent the affiliate’s medical and scientific expertise for assigned neuroscience products.
• Provide scientific advice and information to external experts, healthcare professionals, and internal teams.
• Contribute medical input to affiliate medical affairs strategies and commercial plans.
• Develop and maintain in‑depth knowledge of assigned products through training, congress participation, and self‑study.
• Establish and nurture professional relationships with external experts and academic centers, including advisory boards and round‑table meetings.
• Deliver scientific presentations and medical education programs to healthcare professionals.
• Screen relevant literature and scientific meetings, summarising key messages for internal use.

Required profile

• Strong medical or scientific background in neuroscience.
• Experience in medical affairs or a similar scientific liaison role.
• Ability to build credible relationships with external experts and academic institutions.
• Excellent communication skills for delivering scientific content.
