Mercury Racing Inboard Engines Specialist

About the role

Fahad AlSabih General Trading Co. W.L.L. is seeking an experienced Mercury Racing Inboard Engines Specialist to join its marine service operations in Kuwait. The role involves hands‑on diagnosis, repair, rebuild and commissioning of Mercury inboard engines, with relocation support for the successful candidate.

Key responsibilities

• Diagnose mechanical, electrical and electronic faults on Mercury inboard engines using diagnostic software and service manuals.
• Dismantle, inspect, measure, repair and reassemble engines and related propulsion components.
• Perform scheduled maintenance, major repairs, component replacement and full engine rebuilds.
• Troubleshoot EFI, ignition, cooling, lubrication and computerized engine‑management systems.
• Install, align, commission engines and conduct sea‑trial testing to verify performance.
• Provide workshop and field service at marinas and customer sites, recording all work accurately.

Required profile

• 3–5 years of hands‑on marine‑engine mechanic experience, specifically with Mercury inboard engines.
• Current Mercury or Mercury Racing technical certification.
• Strong practical knowledge of gasoline marine engines and inboard propulsion systems.
• Ability to work independently, diagnose complex faults and follow marine‑safety standards.
• Good working English and willingness to relocate to Kuwait.
