Music Teacher (British Curriculum) – Salmiya, Kuwait

About the role

The school is seeking an enthusiastic Music Teacher to join its British international curriculum for the academic year beginning August 2026. You will deliver music education up to KS5/A Level, following the Pearson Edexcel framework, and contribute to a vibrant, globally‑aware learning community.

Key responsibilities

• Plan and deliver engaging music lessons for students from early years through KS5/A Level.
• Implement the Pearson Edexcel music curriculum and assess student progress.
• Prepare lesson plans, resources, and assessments aligned with British standards.
• Participate in extracurricular music activities and school events.
• Collaborate with colleagues to support the school’s academic excellence.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree plus PGCE or QTS from the UK.
• Minimum three years of post‑qualification teaching experience.
• Proven experience teaching the Pearson Edexcel curriculum in a UK or British international school.
• Demonstrated experience teaching music up to KS5/A Level.
• Excellent written and spoken English.
• Valid police clearance/DBS and two professional references.
