Procurement Manager – Direct (Food, Beverage & Packaging)

About the role

The Procurement Manager – Direct is responsible for shaping and executing sourcing strategies for direct materials such as food, beverage, and packaging. The role ensures cost efficiency, quality, and timely availability while supporting menu innovation and sustainable growth.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and implement sourcing strategies aligned with business objectives and cost targets.
• Negotiate contracts and commercial agreements to achieve optimal savings.
• Manage supplier relationships to ensure quality, reliability, compliance, and continuous improvement.
• Monitor market trends, commodity pricing, and supply risks for proactive decision‑making.
• Oversee purchase order management, lead times, and supplier performance to guarantee material availability.
• Partner with Culinary, Operations, Finance, Quality, and Supply Chain teams for new product launches.
• Maintain accurate procurement data, spend analysis, forecasting, and audit readiness.
• Implement risk mitigation strategies to strengthen supply‑chain resilience.
• Lead continuous‑improvement initiatives to enhance processes and supplier performance.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain, Procurement, Engineering or related field.
• 8+ years of procurement and sourcing experience in Food & Beverage, Restaurant, FMCG or Consumer Goods.
• Proven experience managing food, beverage, and packaging spend categories.
• Strong expertise in strategic sourcing, supplier negotiations and contract management.
• Experience with local and international supplier bases and international trade.
• Demonstrated success in cost‑optimization and budgeting initiatives.
