Operations Manager

About the role

The Operations Manager will lead business development, key account management, and day‑to‑day field operations across multiple routes in Kuwait. This high‑pressure role requires overseeing drivers, warehouse activities, and ensuring seamless collection processes while maintaining strict quality and fraud controls.

Key responsibilities

• Identify, approach, and secure contracts with key accounts, negotiate terms, and manage client relationships.
• Oversee daily route operations, ensure on‑time collections, and monitor performance against targets.
• Manage drivers, storekeepers, and field teams, enforcing discipline, attendance, and company policies.
• Prepare and optimise daily/weekly collection schedules, balancing fuel usage and warehouse capacity.
• Supervise warehouse and inventory control, maintaining accurate records and preventing loss.
• Ensure collected material meets quality standards and coordinate supplier performance.
• Track and report KPIs such as collection volumes, driver productivity, and missed pickups.
• Monitor operations for fraud, flag irregularities, and support loss‑prevention audits.
• Execute management directives promptly and follow up on hiring, logistics, and procurement tasks.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Engineering, Logistics, Supply Chain Management or related field.
• 3–7 years of relevant experience in Kuwait within project/operations management, logistics, FMCG or similar sectors.
• Ability to work up to 12 hours per day, six days a week, and be available 24/7 for emergencies.
• Proven experience managing drivers, field teams, and route operations.
• Fluent in Arabic, English, and Hindi/Urdu.
• Valid Kuwaiti driving licence.
