Retail Store Manager – Avenues Mall

About the role

The Store Manager will lead the Maje boutique at The Avenues Mall, driving sales growth, profitability and an exceptional customer experience. You will be responsible for all aspects of store operations, visual merchandising, and the development of a high‑performing team.

Key responsibilities

• Recruit, train, coach and retain store staff, ensuring succession planning and high performance.
• Lead daily briefings and weekly meetings to communicate performance, goals and new procedures.
• Maintain superior customer service standards through regular assessment, coaching and on‑floor presence.
• Implement visual merchandising directives, promotions and store cleanliness.
• Achieve sales, payroll, shrink and conversion targets while controlling expenses.
• Manage inventory, stock movements, returns and loss‑prevention measures.
• Ensure compliance with all company policies and store procedures.

Required profile

• Previous retail managerial experience with a proven record of meeting sales and profitability goals.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills to engage with team members at all levels.
• Good English language proficiency.
