Safety Officer – Oil & Gas Electrical Projects

About the role
The Safety Officer will support the execution of electrical projects within the oil and gas sector, ensuring that all activities comply with the highest safety and environmental standards.
Key responsibilities
- Implement and monitor safety procedures on site.
- Conduct risk assessments and safety inspections for electrical works.
- Ensure compliance with HSE regulations, ISO 14001 and OHSAS 18001 standards.
- Coordinate with project teams to address safety issues and promote a safe working culture.
Required profile
- Bachelor degree or Technical Diploma, plus a Diploma in Safety.
- NEBOSH and IOSH certifications are mandatory.
- Minimum five years of experience in oil and gas, preferably on electrical projects.
- Successful completion of certified HSE courses covering General Industrial Safety, Construction Safety, Environmental Management, Industrial Hygiene, ISO 14001 / OHSAS 18001 Lead Auditing, or equivalent.
