Sales Executive – Aviation Cargo (Kuwait)

About the role

The ACS Sales Executive will drive revenue growth, profitability and market share for DHL Aviation Cargo Sales in Kuwait. The role focuses on developing and executing strategic sales initiatives, managing customer relationships and coordinating with operational and regional ACS teams.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and implement the ACS sales strategy for Kuwait in line with regional and global objectives.
• Achieve and exceed revenue, volume, yield and profitability targets through effective sales planning and execution.
• Identify, secure and develop new ACS business opportunities with freight forwarders, consolidators, logistics providers and key cargo customers.
• Manage and grow existing customer portfolios through regular engagement, business reviews and solution‑based selling.
• Build strong relationships with external customers and key decision‑makers to ensure retention and long‑term growth.
• Collaborate with Capacity Management, Operations, Gateway and MENA ACS teams to optimise capacity utilisation and maximise commercial opportunities.
• Monitor market trends, competitor activities and customer requirements to shape commercial responses and pricing strategies.
• Prepare, negotiate and manage customer quotations, agreements and commercial proposals in line with company guidelines.
• Respond promptly and professionally to customer inquiries, quotations and service issues.
• Maintain accurate sales pipeline, forecasting and reporting using approved sales systems and CRM tools.
• Participate in customer visits, industry events and business development activities to promote DHL ACS services.
• Support network optimisation initiatives and contribute to improving customer satisfaction and operational efficiency.
• Ensure compliance with DHL policies, commercial procedures, aviation regulations and security requirements.
• Manage Days Sales Outstanding (DSO) effectively.
