Senior Officer Treasury & Settlements

About the role

The Senior Officer Treasury & Settlements is responsible for processing treasury products, investment operations, wholesale term deposits and fund instructions while ensuring accuracy, timeliness and compliance with internal SLA and cut‑off times.

Key responsibilities

• Process Money Market/Islamic products, FX and derivative transactions within agreed SLA and resolve any issues.
• Handle ABK investment instructions received from TID and SFD.
• Process wholesale term deposit instructions and apply correct rates.
• Execute Gulf and Kuwait fund instructions and third‑party fund settlements.
• Provide customer service guidance on transaction ambiguities and protect client interests.
• Maintain adherence to policies, procedures, AML legislation and ensure transactions are completed before cut‑off times.

Required profile

• Minimum 3 years of banking sector experience.
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent certification/experience.
• Strong accuracy, productivity and ability to meet SLA targets.
• Effective coordination with internal branches, IT, finance, compliance and external banks.

Required skills

• Knowledge of processing systems.
• Understanding of processing regulations and standards.
• Familiarity with AML legislation.
• Experience in complex operational environments.
