Group Accounting Manager

About the role

TalentScript is recruiting on behalf of a Kuwait‑based holding company for an experienced Group Accounting Manager. The role focuses on operational accounting, financial reporting, and consolidation across multiple entities.

Key responsibilities

• Manage end‑to‑end accounting operations, including general ledger, reconciliations, intercompany transactions, and month‑end closing.
• Prepare financial statements and consolidated group reports in accordance with IFRS.
• Oversee statutory audits, taxation, and regulatory compliance for several legal entities and jurisdictions.
• Maintain internal controls, accounting policies, and support budgeting, cash‑flow management, and treasury activities.
• Improve accounting processes and ERP systems, with a focus on Microsoft Dynamics.
• Coordinate with external auditors, regulatory authorities, and internal stakeholders.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or a related field.
• Professional qualification such as CA, ACCA, CPA or CMA.
• 8+ years of relevant accounting and finance experience for manager level (or 4+ years for assistant manager level).
• Hands‑on experience with IFRS, group consolidation, statutory audits and multi‑entity accounting.
• Experience handling multiple legal entities and intercompany transactions.
