Senior Software Developer

About the role

The Senior Developer will research, design, test, implement and manage software programs, as well as modify existing applications to meet business and client needs.

Key responsibilities

• Translate software requirements into workable programming code and maintain applications for the business and clients.
• Design, develop, and maintain web applications, APIs, background services, scheduled tasks and automation solutions.
• Develop and manage scheduled jobs, Windows Services, Azure WebJobs, Azure Functions and other background processing services.
• Design, develop and maintain integrations with internal, external and third‑party systems using REST/SOAP APIs, web services, message queues, SFTP and related technologies.
• Leverage AI‑assisted development tools to enhance design, coding, testing, debugging, documentation and code reviews while ensuring security and compliance.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent IT degree, preferably with Microsoft Development Certifications.
• Minimum four years of relevant software development experience.
• Full understanding of the software development life‑cycle, web development, source control, release management, debugging and 3‑tier application development.

Required skills

• C#, ASP.NET MVC, Entity Framework.NET Core, JavaScript, ADO.NET, SQL.
• HTML, XML, JSON, jQuery, CSS.
• Experience with AI‑assisted development tools such as GitHub Copilot, ChatGPT, Cursor or similar.
• Azure WebJobs, Azure Functions, Windows Services, REST/SOAP APIs, web services, message queues, SFTP.
