Senior Subcontracts Administrator

About the role

V2X is seeking a Senior Subcontracts Administrator to manage subcontract and purchase order activities across CONUS and OCONUS locations. The role ensures compliance with corporate policies, FAR/DFARS clauses, and customer requirements while protecting V2X’s legal and financial interests.

Key responsibilities

• Administer and close‑out subcontracts and purchase orders, ensuring adherence to FAR/DFARS and internal policies.
• Draft Requests for Proposals (RFPs), develop source‑selection criteria, and evaluate proposals.
• Conduct cost and price analysis to determine price reasonableness.
• Lead negotiations with domestic and foreign subcontractors.
• Review, interpret, and amend contractual clauses, statements of work, and legal documents.
• Support internal and external audits and provide contractual guidance to program management.
• Maintain compliant subcontract files and document subcontractor performance using the Subcontract Past Performance Rating System (SPPRS).
• Monitor subcontractor performance against schedule, cost, and mission requirements.
• Collaborate with supply‑chain, legal, and other functional departments.

Required profile

• Senior‑level experience in contract administration, preferably within defense or government contracting.
• Strong knowledge of FAR and DFARS regulations.
• Proven ability to conduct cost/price analysis and lead negotiations.
• Excellent judgment and ethical decision‑making.
• Experience supporting audits and coordinating across multiple functional areas.
