Supply Chain Director – Logistics & Procurement

About the role

We are looking for an experienced Supply Chain Director to lead both Logistics & Warehouse and Procurement functions. This senior leadership role owns the end‑to‑end flow of goods, from sourcing and supplier management through warehousing, inventory, and distribution, while driving operational excellence, cost efficiency and resilience.

Key responsibilities

• Own warehouse operations including receiving, storage, inventory accuracy, order fulfillment and outbound distribution.
• Lead transportation planning, carrier and 3PL management, freight cost optimisation and delivery performance.
• Set and monitor inventory policies to balance service levels with carrying costs, reducing stockouts and excess stock.
• Drive safety, layout, process improvements and adoption of automation, WMS and TMS systems.
• Track and report logistics and warehouse KPIs such as on‑time delivery, order accuracy, inventory turns and freight cost per unit.
• Develop and execute sourcing and procurement strategy for direct and indirect spend.
• Negotiate contracts, manage supplier relationships and monitor vendor performance through scorecards and QBRs.
• Identify cost‑saving opportunities and manage total cost of ownership across the procurement portfolio.
• Set overall strategy for Logistics/Warehouse and Procurement, manage combined budget and ensure compliance with trade, customs and safety regulations.
• Partner with Finance, Sales, Operations and Product teams to align supply with business needs and report performance to senior leadership.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, Logistics, Engineering or related field (Master’s/MBA a plus).
• 10+ years of progressive experience in procurement, logistics or warehouse management, including at least 5 years in a senior leadership role overseeing multiple functions.
• Proven track record leading both warehouse/logistics operations and procurement/sourcing functions.
• Strong knowledge of inventory management, distribution, sourcing strategy and supplier negotiation.
• Experience with ERP, WMS and procurement systems such as SAP, Oracle or NetSuite.
