Supply Support Specialist

About the role

Trace Systems is hiring a Supply Support Specialist for a full-time position in Kuwait (Camp Arifjan). The role supports the Government in maintaining property accountability for supplies, equipment and repair parts, using the STAMIS system of record (PBUSE/GCSS-A) and the Army Electronic Product System (AEPS). It is an OCONUS assignment.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain and update a Mission Stock Record Account (MSRA) for each Battalion and keep the property book current using GCSS-A
• Establish an audit trail for all supplies and materials received until issued to the gaining activity
• Order materials and parts through AEPS, DoD E-MALL, DLA Customer Resources Requisitioning and the Army supply system; do not process offline requisitions without written approval of the Property Book Officer
• Verify serial numbers, NSN, LIN and nomenclature before issuing equipment, and check ship-to information and DODAAC/UIC before shipping
• Perform daily and monthly reconciliations against the Commander's hand receipt and the SSA, file documents in ARIMS and keep suspense items resolved
• Support physical inventories, maintain a sensitive items roster, secure CCI with the double-lock method and keep key-control and load plan records up to date
• Assign NSLINs to COTS equipment via SLAMIS, prepare delegation of authority cards, and support the FLIPL investigation process
• Handle hazardous material shipments with the transportation specialist and process paperwork for DRMO and the SSA

Required profile

• Active, in-scope US Government issued Secret clearance
• US citizenship required due to contract requirements
• High school diploma or GED
• Motor vehicle license
• Knowledge of Army supply regulations (AR 710-1, 710-2, 710-3, 735-5, DA PAM 710-2-1, 710-2-2, CTAs, NETCOM Reg 710-2)

Required skills

• Proficiency with office automation tools such as Excel, Microsoft Word and PowerPoint
• Current STAMIS (PBUSE/GCSS-A) training certificate
• GCSS-Army 40-hour Unit Supply or Property Book certification, with GTRAC online certification as required by the role
• Desired: DoD 8570-1 (Security+) certification
