Store Keeper - Logistics & Supply Chain

About the role

Al Tayer Insignia, the luxury retail division of Al Tayer Group, is hiring a Store Keeper in Kuwait. The role supervises the storage and retrieval of goods, organizes accurate picking and proper packing to enable timely delivery, and covers both operational tasks and team guidance.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise storage and retrieval of goods and organize picking and packing for timely delivery.
• Carry out periodic stock checks to minimize stock loss or variation.
• Prepare documents needed for deliveries or shop-outs.
• Inspect goods on arrival, compare them with the order and report shortages or damage, lodging claims with insurers or suppliers where needed.
• Count and tag items, store them safely and securely, and make sure they are easy to identify and retrieve.
• Arrange picking and packing according to pick lists and coordinate warehouse assistants and drivers for timely delivery.
• Maintain HSE practices, remind colleagues to follow company HSE processes, and review operations from a risk-management perspective, escalating concerns to the HSE committee.
• Handle customer returns, store them with transfers and update stock within the agreed SLA timeframe.
• Guide and motivate subordinates to improve performance and meet individual and company objectives.

Required profile

• High school or intermediate education.
• 2 to 3 years of store-keeping experience.

Required skills

• Good knowledge of material storage, distribution and transportation, gained through formal training or work experience.
• Working knowledge of any WMS is preferred.
