Tier 3 Senior Cloud & Security Architect

About the role

KalSoft is seeking a Tier 3 Senior Cloud & Security Architect to design and protect enterprise‑grade cloud solutions on Microsoft Azure. The role combines deep technical expertise with leadership of high‑impact escalations, ensuring secure, highly available cloud operations for our clients.

Key responsibilities

• Design and implement secure, scalable, high‑availability architectures on Microsoft Azure.
• Lead Tier 3 technical support, handling critical cloud and security escalations.
• Perform advanced troubleshooting, root‑cause analysis, and incident resolution.
• Develop cloud security strategies, governance frameworks, and compliance standards.
• Manage enterprise cloud networking, identity and access management (IAM), and security controls.
• Support cloud transformation, migration, and modernization projects.
• Implement disaster recovery, backup, and business continuity solutions.
• Monitor infrastructure health, security alerts, and vulnerabilities.
• Assist SIEM, SOC, and incident‑response activities.
• Collaborate with Tier 1, Tier 2, and infrastructure teams for issue resolution.
• Conduct architecture reviews, risk assessments, and security evaluations.
• Promote automation, Infrastructure as Code (IaC), and continuous improvement.
• Maintain technical documentation, standards, and operational procedures.

Required profile

• Minimum 8 years of professional experience, with at least 5 years in cloud architecture, cloud security, or enterprise infrastructure.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, Cybersecurity, or related field.
• Strong expertise in Microsoft Azure architecture and security solutions.
• Experience in enterprise, government, or banking sectors is preferred.
• Knowledge of Zero Trust, IAM, SIEM, SOC operations, and cybersecurity best practices.
• Experience with hybrid cloud, virtualization, and managed services environments.
• Relevant Microsoft certifications (e.g., AZ‑305, AZ‑500, SC‑100, SC‑200) are a plus.
