Water Compliance Supervisor

About the role

The Water Compliance Supervisor supports the drinking water and wastewater program for the WEXMAC project in Kuwait. This position oversees compliance monitoring, sample collection, and inspections to ensure adherence to DoD, EPA and host‑nation regulations.

Key responsibilities

• Train, evaluate and manage water and wastewater compliance specialists, including work‑instruction and sampling technique instruction.
• Schedule and execute water quality sampling, wastewater treatment collection, and compliance inspections.
• Review and verify analytical reports, chain‑of‑custody records, and maintain accurate documentation on shared drives.
• Assist in preparing sampling and management reports and contribute to updates of work instructions and SOPs.
• Interpret and apply DoD, U.S. Army and host‑nation water regulations (e.g., OEBGD, AR 200‑1) and report environmental issues to senior engineers.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in environmental management, OSHA‑related field, or equivalent experience.
• U.S. citizenship, CAC eligibility, and valid driver’s licenses (U.S. Government and host‑nation).
• Prior experience as an EHS specialist or environmental health and safety professional.
• Certifications: Certified Environmental Specialist, HAZWOPER (40‑hr) with required annual refresher.
