Women's Health Psychologist (Full-time, Remote)

About the role

Taiba Hospital is seeking a compassionate Women's Health Psychologist to provide evidence‑based mental health support for women across the lifespan, from prenatal stages through menopause. The role is full‑time and remote, allowing you to work from anywhere in Kuwait while collaborating with a multidisciplinary team.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver individual and group therapy using CBT, mindfulness, and supportive counseling tailored to perinatal, menopausal, and chronic‑illness populations.
• Conduct assessments and diagnostics with validated psychological tools, creating personalized treatment plans.
• Collaborate with OB/GYNs, midwives, and other specialists to integrate mental‑health interventions into holistic care pathways.
• Develop psycho‑education workshops and materials on stress management, postpartum adjustment, and self‑care.
• Monitor outcomes using standardized measures (e.g., PHQ‑9, GAD‑7) and adjust therapy approaches based on data and patient feedback.
• Lead department huddles and community outreach to promote mental‑health awareness and reduce stigma.

Required profile

• Master’s or Doctoral degree in Clinical Psychology with a valid license or eligibility.
• Minimum of 3 years experience in women’s health, perinatal, or integrated‑care settings.
• Strong empathy, active‑listening skills, and cultural sensitivity.
• Commitment to continuous learning and evidence‑based practice.

Required skills

• Proficiency with EMR documentation.
• Experience using psychological assessment tools.
