Women's Health Psychologist

About the role

At Taiba Hospital’s Women’s Health Integrated Care Center, the Women’s Health Psychologist provides compassionate, evidence‑based mental‑health care to women across the lifespan, from prenatal periods through menopause. The role focuses on delivering individual and group therapy, conducting assessments, and collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to integrate psychological support into holistic women's health services.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver individual and group therapy using CBT, mindfulness, and supportive counseling tailored to perinatal, menopausal and chronic‑illness contexts.
• Conduct comprehensive mental‑health assessments with validated tools and develop personalized treatment plans.
• Collaborate with OB/GYNs, midwives, nurses and other specialists to embed psychological interventions within integrated care pathways.
• Create and lead psycho‑education workshops and resources on stress management, postpartum adjustment and self‑care.
• Monitor patient outcomes using standardized measures (e.g., PHQ‑9, GAD‑7) and adjust treatment plans based on data and feedback.
• Promote mental‑health awareness through department huddles, community outreach and destigmatization initiatives.

Required profile

• Master’s or Doctoral degree in Clinical Psychology with a valid license or eligibility.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in women’s health, perinatal, or integrated‑care settings.
• Strong empathy, cultural sensitivity and ability to work within multidisciplinary teams.
• Commitment to continuous learning and evidence‑based practice.

Required skills

• Proficiency with psychological assessment tools.
• Experience documenting in electronic medical record (EMR) systems.
