Academic Assistant - Bilingual

About the role

The Canadian College of Kuwait is seeking a bilingual Academic Assistant to provide essential administrative and academic support across its departments. This position plays a key role in facilitating communication between students, faculty, and administration while ensuring smooth daily operations on campus.

Key responsibilities

• Provide administrative and academic assistance to faculty members and all academic departments.
• Coordinate communication between students, faculty, and academic administration.
• Cover classes or supervise students during faculty emergency leave, following departmental guidelines.
• Prepare, record, and distribute accurate meeting minutes for faculty and departmental meetings.
• Answer general academic queries from students and direct them to the appropriate resources.
• Maintain accurate academic documents and departmental files.
• Assist with scheduling classes, meetings, and academic events.
• Support the organization of examinations, assessments, and other academic activities.
• Ensure confidentiality of student and institutional information.
• Perform additional duties assigned by academic leadership or senior management.
