About the role
We are seeking an experienced Accountant to join our reputable trading company in Salmiya, Kuwait. This full‑time position involves managing the complete accounting cycle independently and ensuring accurate financial records.
Key responsibilities
- Maintain the accounting system without reliance on managers or owners.
- Prepare and post journal entries, reconcile accounts, and generate financial statements.
- Process invoices, payments, and payroll in a timely manner.
- Ensure compliance with local tax regulations and reporting requirements.
- Utilise the Tally Accounting Package for all accounting operations.
Required profile
- 3 to 5 years of hands‑on experience working solely as an accountant.
- Ability to work independently and take ownership of the accounting function.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Residency status that allows legal employment in Kuwait.
