Accountant – Kuwait

About the role

We are seeking a qualified Accountant to join our finance team in Kuwait. The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing accurate financial reports, managing day‑to‑day accounting activities, and supporting audit processes while ensuring compliance with local and international standards.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements on a regular basis.
• Monitor and analyze financial data to ensure accuracy and completeness.
• Oversee accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger operations.
• Ensure compliance with local and international accounting standards and regulations.
• Prepare and review budgets, forecasts, and financial projections.
• Manage and reconcile bank statements and other accounts.
• Perform monthly and year‑end closing procedures.
• Monitor internal controls and recommend improvements.
• Collaborate with internal and external auditors during audits.
• Assist with special projects and ad‑hoc financial analysis as needed.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience as an Accountant.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Fluent in French, both written and spoken.

Required skills

• Proficiency with SAP accounting software.
• Proficiency with Oracle accounting software.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
