Analyst – Kuwaiti National

About the role

HSBC Kuwait is seeking a Kuwaiti National Analyst to join the Global Corporates & International Mid Markets Coverage team. The analyst will support senior bankers in managing client relationships, growing revenue, and delivering tailored banking solutions across the portfolio.

Key responsibilities

• Provide day‑to‑day coverage of assigned corporate clients, delivering HSBC products and services.
• Develop and maintain client plans, ensuring a comprehensive understanding of each client’s business and banking needs.
• Drive revenue generation and customer satisfaction while meeting risk, credit and compliance requirements.
• Prepare and assist with complex financial modelling, scenario analysis and internal/external presentations.
• Support audit, reporting and profitability calculations, including exposure analysis and reconciliation.
• Handle day‑to‑day requests for smaller accounts and support the Global Relationship Banker with business approval submissions.
• Gather publicly available data for client analysis and assist senior bankers in building trusted‑advisor relationships.
• Collaborate with product specialists and regional CIB teams to expand HSBC’s share of the client wallet.

Required profile

• Kuwaiti National.
• Strong analytical mindset with the ability to assess credit quality and risk.
• Excellent communication skills to interact with senior bankers and internal stakeholders.
• Detail‑oriented approach to ensure accurate client plans and profitability reports.
