About the role

The International University of Science & Technology (IUK) in Kuwait seeks a dynamic full‑time Assistant Professor to teach Architecture & Design Engineering courses, with a specialization in Illumination, Landscape, or Acoustics. The role involves delivering introductory‑level classes to both science and non‑science majors while contributing to scholarly research and curriculum development.

Key responsibilities

• Teach Architecture & Design Engineering courses aligned with your specialty.
• Introduce innovative teaching methodologies and strategies.
• Engage with students inside and outside the classroom and maintain regular office hours.
• Conduct and publish research in indexed, peer‑reviewed journals.
• Mentor junior colleagues and teaching assistants.
• Collaborate with the Head of Department, Dean, and faculty to achieve departmental and college objectives.
• Participate in curriculum development, academic advising, and professional development activities.
• Support university events, organize seminars, conferences, and serve on committees as needed.
