Assistant Security Manager

About the role

As an Assistant Security Manager at Hilton, you will help create a safe and welcoming environment for guests and team members. You will work closely with the security team and hotel leadership to protect people, property, and the brand’s reputation.

Key responsibilities

• Recruit, train, supervise and mentor security staff; conduct performance reviews and recognize achievements.
• Implement and enforce security protocols that comply with local regulations and Hilton standards.
• Oversee security patrols, identify risks and take proactive measures to maintain a safe property.
• Assist in investigations of accidents, thefts, property loss and policy violations, ensuring proper documentation.
• Manage on‑site emergency responses, including fire, medical incidents and safety hazards.
• Serve as liaison with local, state and federal law‑enforcement agencies on security matters.
• Maintain accurate security reports, incident records and compliance documentation.
• Support hotel operations as a duty manager when needed, ensuring safety protocols are followed.
