About the role
We are seeking an enthusiastic Assistant Server to join our restaurant team. In this role you will support our servers in delivering prompt food and beverage service while ensuring a welcoming atmosphere for guests. This position offers a pathway to grow within the hospitality industry and advance to a full server role.
Key responsibilities
- Assist servers in delivering food and beverages promptly.
- Greet and seat guests upon arrival.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of dining areas.
- Set and clear tables efficiently.
- Provide menus and take orders when needed.
- Communicate special requests and food preparation details with kitchen staff.
- Respond to guest inquiries with professionalism and accuracy.
Required profile
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience in a similar role preferred.
- Strong communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Ability to multitask in a fast‑paced environment.
- Basic knowledge of food safety and hygiene practices.
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends and holidays.
