Billeting Manager

About the role

The Billeting Manager will oversee on‑post and off‑post housing for U.S. Military, DoD civilians and coalition forces in Kuwait, ensuring safe, clean and functional living quarters for permanent party soldiers, PCS, TCS, TDY and R&R personnel.

Key responsibilities

• Provide and maintain billeting for over two hundred permanent party soldiers and daily accommodation for TCS, TDY and R&R personnel.
• Coordinate lease payments, utilities and property book accountability for all housing assets.
• Manage day‑to‑day cleaning and upkeep of billets.
• Maintain accurate inventory using an automated supply database and perform quality control on new equipment.
• Supervise a multicultural team handling delivery, receipt, issue and return of equipment and supplies.
• Process administrative adjustments for gains, losses or changes to housing equipment and documentation.
• Interface with government representatives, Vectrus management and other contractor elements to ensure compliance with directives and standards.
• Respond promptly to quality and safety non‑compliance issues and implement corrective actions.

Required profile

• Strong knowledge of housing office operations and ability to develop staff.
• Capacity to react quickly to last‑minute changes and high‑pace environments.
• Experience supervising multicultural teams and managing property inventory.
• Excellent organizational and record‑keeping skills.
