Building Inspector

About the role

Egis Group is looking for a detail‑oriented Building Inspector to join its site supervision team in Kuwait. You will ensure that construction projects meet all relevant building codes, regulations and safety standards while supporting on‑site activities.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct thorough inspections of construction sites to verify compliance with local and international building codes and regulations.
• Supervise construction activities, monitor work quality, and enforce safety regulations, including proper use of personal protective equipment.
• Identify and report code violations, safety hazards, and structural deficiencies, and collaborate with contractors, engineers and project managers to resolve issues.
• Prepare detailed inspection reports, maintain accurate records of site visits, and participate in project meetings.

Required profile

• Diploma in Civil or Architectural Engineering or a related field.
• Minimum 12 years of experience in building inspection, site supervision and project management.
• Valid driver’s license and ability to travel to multiple construction sites within Kuwait City.

Required skills

• In‑depth knowledge of local and international building codes and standards.
• Proficiency in inspection techniques and use of inspection software/tools.
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving abilities.
