Business Development Manager

About the role

We are looking for a Business Development Manager to open doors and win new clients for our market. The role focuses on generating leads, securing meetings with decision‑makers and landing the first projects before handing the accounts over to an Account Manager for growth.

Key responsibilities

• Proactively open doors at target accounts and secure meetings with brand owners, trade/ shopper marketing and procurement decision‑makers.
• Build and manage a self‑generated pipeline of new logos across POSM, retail production, agency/studio, design, activation, events and exhibitions.
• Sell on perceived value with a compelling story, win the first deal and set the account up for long‑term growth rather than competing on price.
• Leverage an existing industry network and reputation to activate client relationships from day one (preferred).
• Transition won accounts cleanly to an Account Manager and provide market and competitor intelligence to the Commercial Director.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing or a related field.
• 3–5 years of business development or B2B sales experience.
• Experience in POSM, branding, advertising, retail production or related industries is preferred.
• Existing client network is a strong advantage.
