Business Intelligence Developer (MSBI, SQL & ETL)

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Business Intelligence Developer to design, build and maintain data solutions for our banking operations in Kuwait. The role focuses on Microsoft SQL Server, SSIS‑based ETL processes and dimensional data models to support reporting and analytics.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and maintain SQL Server database objects including tables, views, stored procedures, functions and triggers.
• Design, implement and support ETL pipelines using SSIS to load and transform data from multiple sources.
• Build and evolve data warehouse structures using star and snowflake schemas, fact and dimension tables.
• Optimize query performance, tune indexes and partitions, and ensure scalability of both database and ETL processes.
• Validate data quality, perform data profiling and implement data governance best practices.
• Collaborate with business analysts and technical teams to translate requirements into robust data solutions.

Required profile

• 8–10 years of hands‑on experience with Microsoft SQL Server and SSIS.
• Strong background in data warehousing, dimensional modeling and ETL development.
• Proven ability to write complex T‑SQL code (stored procedures, functions, triggers).
• Experience in performance tuning, indexing and partitioning strategies.
• Familiarity with banking domain data (customers, deposits, loans, cards, wealth management) is preferred.

• Erwin or similar data modeling tools
• Oracle Database knowledge (plus)
