C-17 Avionics Technician – Kuwait

About the role

Boeing is seeking an experienced C-17 Avionics Technician to support airframe, propulsion, electrical and avionics maintenance for the Kuwait Air Force. The position is based at Al‑Mubarak, AB, Kuwait City and involves both flight‑line and back‑shop activities.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee assembly, disassembly, overhaul and modification of aerospace vehicle components.
• Configure aerospace vehicles and bench‑test equipment.
• Troubleshoot complex pneumatic, hydraulic and electrical systems to isolate and repair faults.
• Conduct validation and verification testing of systems and components.
• Document procedures, repairs, test results and modifications to ensure contractual and regulatory compliance.
• Inspect components and verify repairs for flight‑worthiness.
• Provide training and work under general direction.

Required profile

• Minimum 5 years of avionics experience, including C‑17 aircraft maintenance.
• High school diploma or GED; equivalent combination of education and experience accepted.
• Willingness to relocate; employer may sponsor employment visa.
• Ability to satisfy Kuwait labor and immigration formalities.
