CAD Technician

About the role

The Design / Technical Engineer supports the Product Service Delivery (PSD) team in delivering safe, efficient, and reliable products and services to customers. This role focuses on creating and optimizing technical job designs, identifying improvement opportunities, and providing real‑time technical support throughout the service delivery process.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and deliver optimized technical job designs for the assigned product line.
• Identify and communicate continuous‑improvement opportunities, supporting risk management and lessons‑learned initiatives.
• Provide real‑time support to PSD operations and manage resource consumption (COSD).
• Explore cost‑effective techniques and value‑added product or service opportunities.
• Consult subject‑matter experts to refine designs and support execution phase changes.
• Assist in incident response, recovery, and investigation.
• Collaborate with sales and commercial teams to evaluate technical viability of tenders.
• Analyze job execution versus design and capture best practices for future projects.
